last night i got my 1st birthday greetings from my hubby.
so nice!
i said something stupid like :" i gonna sleep before 12am.
coz at least i'll still be 30 yr old when i sleep."
(stupid rite).

this morning i receive many smses, mmses, friendsters greetings
thank you very much.
really make my day.

i receive a very pretty handphone strap from my colleague.
really like it very much.
it will really go with my "new" handphone.
thanks. appreciate that he took the time to "hunt" for it.

thanks gap and jocelyn, i love the brownie.
had already finish most of it by now.
will be leaving some for lin sian.

delayed postings of bangkok.

was supposed to post this earlier.
as usual, too busy at work.


reached bangkok at abt noon time so we headed straight to the hotel.
we stay at the davis hotel.




but we never really spent much time in the hotel.




the room very cheeky rite. the other pic is taken from inside the toilet.
of course, in case u wondering. the curtain was down the whole time.

after we check in, we went ahead to the four-faced Buddha over at erawan.
our SOP everytime we reached bangkok.

after that, we went to have our late lunch at our fav place.



tom yum soup and pasta wif chicken.




but this is our fav!! deep-fried fish wif hot sauce.

they have a few outlets in town. wan to know where it is?

in bangkok, they have cafe by hotels, like this oriental hotel cafe.
they serve very good pastries.





but this is one of my fav.
the greyhound cafe in bangkok is very popular.
the singapore PS cafe also have the same concept as the greyhound cafe.

we went thong lor shopping.. but i nv really take much pic coz it was too warm
and i was feeling abt grouchy. (nothing new.)

loved the stuff there. i bot a limited edition addidas there too.
alot of nice things but comes wif a price tag.

on sat, there is a ceremony marking the 60th
anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej's ascension to the throne.

that nite, we went to the state tower for a drink.
the view was spectacular.





the bar.



fireworks lights up the sky.
from 3 different we saw. north east and west.
all fireworks from afar.

but my camera only able to capture the nearest.

Day 3 was at chatuchak weekend market.

actually nothing much to buy there.
i've been there so many times already.
but the local thai restuarant.
we won't give it a miss.



our regular dishes which includes raw prawns.



dinner was at coca,siam square.






my fav ice-cream from dairy queen.

tepanyaki

i'm supposed to blog this on monday,
but was too busy.

on sunday night, we had tepanyaki for dinner.
only two of us.
ya so as usual we bought some of our fav meat,
too bad we cant get fresh mushroom.
it was too late when we woke up.

see.. and we finished all the food.
oh.. the bowl on the tepanyaki plate was for some soup.
but it did not manage to "cook" fast enough,
so i still need to transfer it to the stove.

food hunting

yesterday we wanted to have tepanyaki for dinner.

but andrew called sian out for a dinner.

we went to furama for buffet coz they wanted oysters.

*slurp*



although the spread is not much but the sashimi and the oysters is
good enough.



woo hoo... i had lots of desserts too.

after tat we wanted to bring them to PS cafe. but it was too crowded.

so we end up at villa bali.
drinks are cheap.
food not sure coz nv try
ambiance so-so

bascially i wont go back there again.
and its so warm.

gal outing

friday nite was our gal's nite out.
we are supposed to meet at 7pm at marriott.

i was early. i reach there abt 6.45 so i decided to go shopping.
so since it was GSS (great singapore sale), i decide to go see and good bargains.

in the end i bot a song + kelly blouse.

it's not my fault for purchasing an non-sale item k!

there's two reason for the purchase.

reason no. 1.

sales girl (SG) : this top has another colour.
me : it's ok, i dun like yellow.. this looks nice.
SG : i love ur curl! where did u perm ur hair?
me: oh actually is my mom who perm my hair
SG: i really love it! it so nice! i wanted to perm long time ago.
me : okie. let me try this on.

see! how can i resist! my curl was like so old and messy liao
and actually there someone appreciate it! hahaha.
oh my.. how weak am i!!

reason no 2.

simple. my girlfriends was late for the dinner loh..
so i had to find something to occupy myself
but lucky my friend manage to reach in time before i went crazy
and purchase another dress which is more costly!

ok next
we meet up at wan hao restaurant.
the food was fabulous

after the dinner we headed up to mezz9 for a drink
we had so much fun!
and the house wine was very good.

can't wait for another meeting.

i was cooking last week when i tumbled upon this egg which have two egg yolk.
i was thinking, wow i was lucky coz i nv seen double egg-yolk.
yaya.. i heard you. you must be saying i seldom cook rite.
you are wrong. now i very much into cooking.

here it is.. i was actually cooking 3 eggs when it came out 4 yolk.



but when i preparing for supper last nite, i came across this.
Hee. previous time i forgot to snap together with the egg shells.
so this time round, complete with egg shell.



is this coincidence? Heh Heh
same hen..

or was it quite a common thing already?

but i feel very lucky coz it happen in the same week.
